VisitAbuja is building a modern destination platform for Nigeria’s capital, helping visitors discover where to stay, what to do, where to eat and how to experience the city.

Content Creator
We’re looking for a creative Content Creator who can capture Abuja through photography, videography and short-form storytelling. You’ll create original content highlighting the city’s attractions, hotels, restaurants, culture, outdoor experiences, events and everyday life.

- Create original photo and video content across Abuja.
- Film and photograph attractions, hotels, restaurants, events and experiences.
- Produce engaging short-form videos for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts and other platforms.
- Capture high-quality photographs for VisitAbuja.org and social media.
- Develop content ideas that make Abuja appealing to Nigerian and international travellers.
- Edit photos and videos into polished, platform-ready content.
- Conduct occasional interviews with business owners, visitors and people around the city.
- Cover selected events, openings and tourism experiences.
- Work with the Social Media Manager to develop the content calendar.
- Maintain an organised library of VisitAbuja photography and video footage.
Ideal qualifications
- Based in Abuja or able to regularly create content within the city.
- Strong photography and videography skills.
- Comfortable filming and editing short-form vertical video.
- Experience with tools such as CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, Lightroom, Canva or similar software.
- Good understanding of Instagram, TikTok and current content trends.
- Strong visual eye and ability to make locations look appealing without misrepresenting them.
- Comfortable approaching businesses and people when producing content.
- Familiarity with Abuja’s neighbourhoods, attractions and lifestyle is a major advantage.
- Previous professional experience is helpful, but a strong portfolio and creativity matter more.
Social Media Manager
We’re looking for a Social Media Manager to grow VisitAbuja’s online presence and turn our platforms into useful, engaging resources for people planning a visit to the city. You’ll manage the daily voice of VisitAbuja across social media, publish content, engage with our audience and help build a recognisable destination brand.

- Manage VisitAbuja’s social media accounts and daily publishing.
- Develop and maintain a monthly social media content calendar.
- Write captions, posts and short destination-focused content.
- Schedule and publish photos, videos, Reels, Stories and other content.
- Work closely with the Content Creator to plan upcoming shoots and campaigns.
- Respond to comments, messages and visitor questions in a professional and friendly manner.
- Identify relevant Abuja events, trends and conversations worth covering.
- Grow followers and engagement organically.
- Develop campaigns around attractions, hotels, restaurants, events and seasonal travel.
- Track social media performance and provide simple monthly reports.
- Monitor what other successful city and tourism brands are doing and identify ideas that could work for Abuja.
- Maintain a consistent VisitAbuja brand voice across platforms.
Ideal qualifications
- Experience managing Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, X or similar social platforms.
- Excellent written English and strong communication skills.
- Good understanding of social media trends and audience behaviour.
- Ability to write engaging copy without making it feel overly promotional.
- Familiarity with Canva, Meta Business Suite and social scheduling tools is helpful.
- Basic understanding of analytics and social media performance metrics.
- Highly organised and able to work independently in a remote environment.
- Familiarity with Abuja and Nigerian culture, travel, food and lifestyle is strongly preferred.
- Experience with tourism, hospitality, lifestyle or media brands is an advantage.
Sales & Marketing Executive
We’re looking for a confident Sales & Marketing Executive to build commercial partnerships between VisitAbuja and businesses across the city. You’ll work directly with hotels, serviced apartments, restaurants, attractions, tour operators and other tourism businesses to develop promotions, exclusive visitor deals, advertising partnerships and joint campaigns.

- Identify hotels, restaurants, attractions and tourism businesses that could partner with VisitAbuja.
- Contact prospective partners and introduce VisitAbuja’s platform and audience.
- Arrange meetings, presentations and partnership discussions.
- Negotiate discounts, visitor deals and promotional packages.
- Develop exclusive VisitAbuja offers with participating businesses.
- Sell advertising, featured listings and promotional opportunities where appropriate.
- Build long-term relationships with hospitality and tourism partners.
- Work with hotels and restaurants to create seasonal campaigns and packages.
- Identify sponsorship opportunities for VisitAbuja content, events and campaigns.
- Maintain an organised database of current and prospective partners.
- Follow up on leads and manage partnerships from first contact through agreement.
- Work with the content and social teams to ensure partner campaigns are delivered properly.
- Track partnership revenue, commissions and campaign performance.
Ideal qualifications
- Strong communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
- Confident speaking with hotel managers, restaurant owners and senior business representatives.
- Sales, marketing, hospitality, tourism or business-development experience is preferred.
- Good understanding of Abuja’s hospitality, restaurant and entertainment scene.
- Comfortable making calls, sending proposals and attending meetings.
- Able to identify opportunities and turn conversations into commercial partnerships.
- Professional written and spoken English.
- Highly organised and comfortable managing multiple business relationships.
- Self-motivated and able to work toward sales and partnership targets.
- Existing relationships within Abuja’s hospitality or tourism industry are a strong advantage.
Commission: Additional commission is paid on qualifying partnerships and commercial deals secured.
